GuanU and I biking during the fall church retreat.
Most of our group went biking on the river path. My trip was especially exciting because one of my biking partners is blind. It took me by surprise that, as we were all renting bicycles, he too wanted to individually rent a bike for the trip. I questioned him on the possibility of being able to manage the bike on the busy trail, but he assured me that he could do it. Shortly after we departed the rental shop, he crashed! Thankfully, it was a minor crash with a chain link crossing part of the trail. After the first crash, there were very few other incidents as he followed one of us in the group. Just like his daringness to go biking, he takes up his cross daily without reservation and follows God. I am regularly able to observe his personal pursuit of God! It is both awesome and humbling to see this faith! I pray that along with him, there will be many more young men who will pursue God without reservation in Taiwan.
