Over the past few weeks I have been learning how to take care of fish. One of the teachers that was leaving about the same time that I started at school gave me a fish tank. It has been more enjoyable than I would have ever realized. The fish in Taiwan are very cheap and most of the tropical fish in the world come from these regions. So I have many choices of colors and sizes. It is extremely interesting to obsevere the habbits and patterns of the fish. They all do what they are supposed to do! SWIM and EAT and look cool, it is a good lesson to see that the fish are living out their purpose in life everyday without even thinking!

Sometimes, I wish life were only about swimming and eating and looking cool! I enjoyed your viewpoints regarding the Taiwanese people and even their fish! We are praying for you and Rachel and Julie :}
Hi Eric,
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying God’s creation in Taiwan. I teach first grade at NLA. Sometimes fish come up in our curriculum. For example-Fish were made on day 5 of the creation week. One of my first graders at NLA just asked me if all the fish died during Noah’s flood. Do you know the answer to that question? God bless you, Eric! It is so cool to see a young man from our church serve the Lord in a foreign land.
