Memory Verse

As I have been able to enjoy a little extra time, I wanted to review some of my verses and commit more to memory.  I have been challenged by the sharpness of some children’s ability in the Awana program at church to recall Bible verses.  Here are some of Jesus’ words at the end of Matthew 11 that I hope to learn better how to practice as I memorize them.

Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
