Yes. We do have some opportunities to play sports here in Taiwan. And that is a wonderful thing! On Sunday afternoons there is a group of both foreigners and Taiwanese who meet inside of a junior high track to play some Ultimate Frisbee. Lately there has been a group of about 20 or so there. I have been going for the last 5 week or so and I finally convinced Rachel to come with me this week (she doesn’t really appreciate frisbee as I do…). Anyhow, it is a great time to learn a little bit of Chinese as well as build relationships with both foreigners like us as well as the Taiwanese people. Along with playing frisbee, we also go with a group out to eat afterwards. So it is also wonderful to experience a variety to different restaurants in Taiwan. I even ordered today in Chinese…Ok…soo maybe that is quite an overstatement…I stammered out a few words while pointing at the menu:) But Rachel and I are getting a lot better at our numbers because tonight at supper we played a game using Chinese numbers from 1-100 and we did well! So, anyhow, Ultimate is just a great time of excercise, purposeful relationships, and also great food afterwards:) I love it!

I had never heard of ultimate frisbee before so I had to look it up on the web ~ WOW! It is quite an interesting game and such a great way to get to know people. God bless you and Rachel and Eric for your enthusiasm and generosity of spirit!
