Summer Trips

Beginning in mid-May, several groups will be visiting Taiwan this summer.

The Texas team from Trinity is making two trips.  The first group will be revisiting the Taichung Sports University at the end of May to continue to develop relationships and pray for the campus.  They will have opportunities to share about Jesus with friends in sports and English classes.  It has been a amazing to see how God has used their giving of time to change lives of students over the past few summers.  The second group will partner with a small church in Taichung in late June to reach out to teachers and students in the area.

Also in late June, a few university Navigator students from the US will spend a month throughout the island partnering with Taiwanese university students to share Jesus’ love with students in summer English camps.  The team will travel to the island of Penghu and to the East Coast area near Hualien, for the outreach camps, before spending some more time with university students at National Taiwan University and in Changhua.

Each summer vacation, the Village Gospel Mission invites several short term volunteers to share about Jesus in rural settings throughout Taiwan.  Most of the locations are near churches who have the ability to follow up in the lives of the students that participate in the week long English camps.

There are several other short-term teams that will visit Taiwan throughout the summer to work with missionaries and churches around the island.  Please pray for these traveling servants and the Taiwanese friends they will meet.  Also pray that many will respond to the good news of Jesus!
