From 85 floors

Here are a couple pictures and a video from the past couple weeks. The video is from the weekend Julie shared about in her last post. It shows a fun game Caleb (the youngest of the 3 Minnich boys) liked to play with me after he figured out that he could fit perfectly through my legs..! We also got to go to their house church the next morning where Kate and I shared our testimony. As for the pictures-the 1st one is of one of our two chinese teachers -she’s AWESOME!! I quickly snapped this picture while she was in the middle of teaching us prepositions… just look at that board! Chinese is hard stuff!! The 2nd picture is a view from the 39th floor restaurant of a building called The 85 in Kaohsiung. This is where we had our work Thanksgiving dinner this last saturday night! This building is in the top 10 tallest buildings in the world with 85 floors. The third picture is of a dog called QT (she’s on the right).. I wanted to take her home SOOO bad after I helped with an animal adoption event for a couple hours this last sunday. The final picture is from when I was at the track the other morning.. you see a lot of different things in another culture around. A couple examples, one day there was a lady riding her old bicycle around the track for about 30 minutes, and then lots of people run in jeans and all sorts of interesting clothing. This picture is of a grandpa and two of his daughters who help him walk very slooowly around the track while his wife walks along side them. I just loved how loving they are to each other… I see them at the track at least twice a week. I just don’t feel that would be seen much in the States.
