Happy Fourth! There are many 4th of July celebrations throughout the island where Americans are getting together to share the holiday. Today, I am swill be able to celebrate with Levi and Gretchen, and about 50-60 other Taiwanese university students. The English camp has finished, thanks for your prayers, it went very well. Many of the students had a great time being able to practice their English speaking skills with a native speaker. A lot of the younger students really loved have a big brother or sister to hangout with throughout the week.
The last two days before we all leave Penghu have been used to see some of the beautiful things around the island. Gretchen, Levi, and I have all connect with many new friends, so the relaxing time together with them has given us several opportunities to know more about their lives. Please pray for all of our new friends! I have connect specially with two guys, Ricky and Harry. We have had a short Bible discussion each morning before breakfast and on the days that we needed to prepare at school starting at 7… they asked if we could meet at 6:20. God has been working a lot in their hearts and they are thinking about many of the things we are discussing. Lots of pictures to come soon!!!
