Tonight, I had my first official teaching experience. Over the last week Julie and I spent time meeting with different schools and interviewing. It was really good and we got a few job offers. Praise God…now we are searching for the best of the offers, mostly the school we feel most comfortable at. But tonight we spent time in the classroom substitute teaching. I now know how hard it can be to step into a class that is not your own students. It was a lot of fun and I think that elementary is a sweet age to be a teacher. My kids were around the age of 7 and had already been studying English for two years. The experience was great and we also got a few dollars for our efforts. I think now I will be more comfortable when it comes to my own class!

Ha, I am kind of with Phil. I am not sure who wrote this posting. I’m confused! Whoever it was, I am glad things went well the first day. Have a wonderful day!
