- I was born in St. Paul, MN on December 14th, 1982. I grew up in Newport, MN with my mother, father, 2 older brothers and an older sister. I graduated from Woodbury, HS in 2001.
I then went to the University of WI - Eau Claire to study Math Education, and picked up a coaching minor on the way. Throughout my 5 years at school, I found my college "family" through Campus Crusade for Christ and spent a lot of time being trained and training others to be a disciple of Christ. Also in college I really enjoyed intramural sports as well as the beautiful Chippewa River Trail. I met some of the coolest people at UWEC and already miss them greatly. Throughout my summers of college, I had the opportunities to get out out of the upper midwest, spending one summer in Hampton Beach, NH on a summer project and 2 summers at Kanakuk Kamp in Branson, MO. And it is true, I did stick around EC one summer as well. Love EC in the summer.
Anyhow, let's back to the story. I graduated from UWEC in May, 2006 and then went back home to Newport, MN to hangout with my family a bit as well as teach summer school to some inner-city freshmen on the East Side of St. Paul. It was interesting...but I only cried once, and I have to say that I grew from the experience. And that brings me to where I am currently, and that is Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Here I teach English in the afternoon/evenings to little Taiwanese kids, I study Chinese in the morning, and best of all, I am a servant and missionary of the Gospel!
And that is my autobiography.
