Prayer for Taiwan

Psalms 24:4-5
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

Christian English teachers coming to Changhua!
God’s answer to prayers and teaching me of his plans for the upcoming year.
Good time with family and friends back home over the 2011 summer!
Blessed with some great roommates who are eager to grow in their faith!
God’s continual provision!
Amazing encouragement from home!

Prayer Requests:

Development of student leaders
Bible teaching and discipleship skills (Sharing God’s Biblical truths clearly in Chinese)
New young men ready to hear God’s word
Continuing development of friendships with seeking young men
Continual maturity in Christ and growth as a leader
Continual development and mastering of the Chinese language
Clarity in speaking Chinese
Divine opportunities to share Jesus’ story (my recognition of these opportunity)
Discernment living in a different culture.
Future direction with Dava.
Safety and health in travel and commuting.
Decisions about what God is planning for me in Taiwan or the future.

Pray for the Taiwanese:

That God draws them to himself (John 6:44)
That the Holy Spirit works in them (John 16:8-13)
That they believe the Scriptures (Rm. 10:17, 1 Thes. 2:13)
That they believe in Christ as their savior (John 1:12, 5:24)
That they yield all to follow Christ (2 Cor. 5:15, Phil 3:7,8)
That they take root and grow in Christ (Col 2:6,7)
